An appropriate cuff size and shape are the key elements for an accurate blood pressure measurement. Microlife has developed a new generation of cuffs, able to meet the needs of all patients. All new Microlife blood pressure monitors are equipped with a guide to check the arm circumference in order to select the correct cuff size.
Microlife cuffs are available both in soft and rigid models. The cuffs are equipped with colour-coded connectors to be used with all 3G Microlife blood pressure monitors.

Microlife wide range cuffs (M - L size & L - XL size) fit a wide range of arm sizes. The conical shape provides a better fitting and accuracy. Microlife wide range cuffs are available in soft and rigid preformed structure. All Microlife cuffs are validated in specific clinical studies.

Microlife bladders are «latex free» to avoid any latex allergy problems. The innovative TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) plastic bladder has replaced the traditional latex bladder. These TPU bladders provide a better durability than latex and PVC. All new Microlife cuffs have a 2-year guarantee.
* Cuff tube is PVC.
A regular cuff deflation speed is very important for accurate blood pressure measurement. Different cuff sizes have various deflation speeds.
Each Microlife cuff has a uniquely colour-coded connector with integrated calibrated valve, that guarantees optimal deflation speed.
Unfortunately there is no real solution for upper arm monitors. A certain length to width ratio of the cuff must be kept to ensure accurate readings. If you face this issue we recommend to repeat determining the circumference of your arm and measure approximately in the middle of the upper arm to select the correct cuff size. This may then allow you to switch to a smaller cuff size with a smaller width. If you are a borderline case and it would be possible to fit the cuff, but not with the recommended 2 cm distance to your elbow crease, you may reduce this distance to 0 cm. It may not be the very best positioning of the cuff but it will still provide you with plausible measurement results.
If you don't have any of those possibilities we recommend that you purchase a Microlife wrist monitor to be able to reliably determine your blood pressure.
